It's December now

Well, guess what? I survived not getting the Wapello Secretary job. I think I still would have liked having the job, but I do enjoy being free to choose what I do each day, wether that be substituting, or PTA stuff, or work at home. 

Harvest was the most stressful for me this year. I just didn't enjoy going everyday when there was other things to be done at home. It was a pretty warm year also. We ended up starting spuds at 5:30 am most mornings and ending at 2:00 pm. The warm weather made us have to dig for an extra week. 

Sugar beets were also warm but we decided not to shut off early. Long lines at the liberty beet dump toward the end had us all frustrated.
