Stitches

Well, we had some trips to the clinic today. It was a lot of fun ... let me tell you. ;) Jake was having fun on the swing set and as he was jumping off his arm caught a bolt that cut his arm. It was a feat for his dad to get him in the pickup so we could take him in. After we got him in there he was settling down and trying really hard to be brave. He doesn't like anyone to see his "boo-boo's" but we finally convinced him to let us take a picture for "posterity". (Actually, we told him it looked like he'd been shot and we wanted to send the picture to Uncle Barry)

So here are the pictures of his arm. He ended up needed 5 stitches but by the time the PA was done (it took her forever ...) we didn't take anymore pictures. He got a free ice cream cone and he said that was the only part he liked about the whole visit ... but can you blame him. :) He really is trying to smile in this picture.
