Monster Trucks

Jake and Gary went to the Monster Truck show on Saturday (the 4th). My mom watched the kids that day (so I could play ... that post will come later) and Jake had thrown up earlier. When it was time to go home and get ready he said he was feeling fine and thought he'd be able to go. Well, I had to go drop off one of the gifts I made (back to that post) to a friend and Jake threw up in the car. We had a shoe box in there so it didn't get all over the car ... but then trying to move the box it started to leak. GROSS!! But thank goodness it only got on the floor mat and Jake's leg.

When we got home Jake still said he would be fine and he REALLY wanted to go. So they took some Coke and crackers and off they went.


They got there early so they were able to see all the trucks lined up outside. They also had motorcross and they saw all the bikes. There were some small ones that Jake kept telling Gary he needed. Here's a picture of Jake by "Big Foot".

Jake couldn't believe that a girl was there also. Her truck was pink. I'm sure Megan would have thought that was AWESOME!!! Emalee and Megan both wanted to go and weren't very happy they missed out. They kept saying, we aren't sick, we'll go in his place.

Here she is with the tire off of her truck. Two tires broke on two different trucks.

When they first got there Jake threw up again so Gary bought him a new shirt and a flag. After all the trucks were done Jake felt they should leave. So they missed the Motorcross but he still had fun and I'm glad they were able to have some "man" time.
